#lovewins

By Katherine Veytsman

lovewins right?

Except love doesn’t win, love can exist, but hate seems to be stronger.

Hate is what kills. Hate is what makes terrorists, Hate is what breaks families.

Love, Love is beautiful. Love is happiness, Dedication, Commitment.

Love means putting others first, making sure others are happy. Hate means making sure others are miserable Hate is miserable

Hate creates tragedies June 2016 Hate breeds tragedy 4 dead 6 injured, Tel Aviv Hate leads to tragedy 21 year old girl shot twice, Orlando Hate becomes tragedy 50 dead 53 injured, Orlando HATE IS TRAGEDY

Hate leads to deaths Hate leads to fear Hate leads to more hate

There is too much, There is not enough love Love is often represented with a heart, hate is shot right through it, With a lead bullet stopping it forever How can love win when hate keeps killing

It kills innocent people Breaks family Massacres spirit How are people supposed to continue when hate surrounds them, Frightens them, Threatens them.

Hate is danger, Hate is anger, Hate is vengeful.

Love can help rebuild community, Love can help rebuild trust, Love is safety, Love is love Love has to win.

Kat Veytsman is a Junior at Marblehead High School. She is a second degree Black Belt in karate, but aside from fighting people she is passionate about fighting for people. She is an advocate for Israel, an advocate for acceptance, and an advocate for love and peace. She believes there is too much hate and too many mass murders all over the world. The recent Orlando killings have inspired her to write a poem encouraging people to love each other.
